Blackburn Betting Preview
With Craig Bellamy moving to Liverpool, Blackburn had to land some big name players - and they have. Benni McCarthy is a great buy, because he will revel in the cut and thrust of the Premiership. Jason Roberts has also proven he can hold his own with the big boys as well. So to temper the loss of Bellamy (and Paul Dickov) they have splashed out on very adequate replacements. Both will nab them goals. Blackburn finished 6th last year and there’s nothing to suggest that they will suddenly go into freefall.
It is hard to imagine them mixing it with the big four especially over a season, but they have decent players like Morten Gamst Pedersen, Steven Reid, Robbie Savage and manager Mark Hughes has instilled a good work ethic. At times last season Blackburn played some tremendous football, so it should be another decent season and the possibility of a European place at the end of it.
