London (Reuters) - Six Premier League clubs were given potentially awkward away ties when the draw for the second round of the English League Cup was made.
Birmingham City have a tough trip to Scunthorpe United, currently top of the second division, and Aston Villa travel to Wycombe Wanderers, who are going well in the third.
Tottenham Hotspur visit Grimsby, promoted West Ham United visit Sheffield Wednesday, Portsmouth go to Gillingham and Manchester City face Doncaster Rovers.
Clubs involved in European competition, including holders Chelsea, have byes until later in the competition.
