Belgium: St Truidense win with 10 men [Sat Aug 27th, 2005]
An early goal from Jeroen Simaeys was enough to give 10-man St Truidense victory over Beveren.
Simaeys struck after just six minutes to send St Truidense ahead, although the hosts were dealt a blow in the 38th minute with the dismissal of Jari Niemi.
Yet despite their disadvantage, St Truidense battled hard for the rest of the game to take the 1-0 win.
It was the club's second victory after four rounds of the new Jupiler League season, while Beveren slipped to their third defeat.
