Japan: J-League- Oita boss quits [Wed Aug 31st, 2005]
Oita Trinita coach Hwang Bo-kwan has stepped down after a run of ten games without a win has left the J-League side firmly entrenched in the relegation zone.
The South Korean took over in Kyushu last season and seemed to have turned things around when the team started the season relatively strongly.
However, the team’s dismal winless streak and last weekend’s defeat at bottom club Vissel Kobe has led to the 40-year-old’s departure.
News headlines from around the world.
