England (Div 1): Cort treble sinks QPR [Wed Aug 31st, 2005]
A hat-trick from striker Carl Cort has handed Wolves an impressive 3-1 win against Queens Park Rangers in Championship action in England.
Leon Clarke and Rohan Ricketts combined to set up Cort for the game's opening goal, which he finished with a cool volley, before on-loan Aston Villa striker Stefan Moore provided the cross for Kevin Gallen to level with a header for Rangers only minutes later.
Kenny Miller then crossed for Cort's second, before the former England Under-21 international completed his hat-trick with a stoppage time finish.
The win moves Glenn Hoddle's side to sixth spot on the Championship ladder.
