Brazil: Corinthians' Rosinei in hospital after crash [Thu Sep 1st, 2005]
Corinthians midfielder Rosinei is in hospital in Sao Paulo after being involved in a car crash.
Rosinei was travelling home overnight, after the Corinthians training session, when he hit another car in Tatuape district.
He was immediately taken to Sao Luiz hospital with head injuries but, after a scan, doctors said there were no serious neurological problems detected.
The midfielder will stay in the hospital until Thursday (Friday AEST), when he is due to be discharged.
Rosinei has scored six goals in this season's Campeonato Brasileiro, but missed midweek's clash against Goias in the second leg of the Copa Sudamericana first round, which they drew 1-1 to qualify for the second stage 3-1 on aggregate.
Corinthians currently lie in the fourth place in the Campeonato, level with Internacional on 40 points - two behind leaders Santos.
