Holland: Takak joins NEC on loan [Thu Sep 1st, 2005]
NEC Nijmegen appear to have finally ended their search for a striker by agreeing a loan deal for PSV Eindhoven outcast Jasar Takak.
The 23-year-old forward has struggled to hold down a first-team place at the Philipsstadion and will join the Nijmegen outfit on a one-year loan contract, subject to a medical.
NEC have scored only twice in their opening three league fixtures and injuries to Bart Van Den Eede, Romano Denneboom and Rutger Worm increased the need for more firepower.
The club have also failed in a bid to sign Ajax striker Yannis Anastasiou.
