Italy: Juventus sign Brazilian starlet [Thu Sep 1st, 2005]

Juventus have signed Gladstone Della Valentina from Cruzeiro just hours before the end of the transfer deadline overnight.

Della Valentina is a 20-year-old central defender, who starred for Brazil at the Under-20 World Championships in Holland.

Neither club has disclosed the fee.
