World Cup qualifying: Pedersen's last-gasp strike for Norway sinks Slovenia [Mon Sep 5th, 2005]
Celje (Reuters) - Morten Gamst Pedersen's dramatic injury-time winner gave Norway a 3-2 triumph over Slovenia in their World Cup Group Five qualifier.
Second-placed Norway's victory gave them 12 points from seven games, two behind group leaders Italy. Slovenia are third on nine points.
John Carew put the visitors in front after three minutes before Sebastian Cimirotic equalised two minutes later for Slovenia.
Claus Lundekvam restored Norway's advantage with a 24th-minute goal, but Anton Zlogar again hauled the hosts level with seven minutes to go.
