Germany: Bayern fullback's injury blow [Tue Sep 13th, 2005]
Bayern Munich full-back Andreas Gorlitz has suffered a setback in his return from injury after hurting an ankle during his first appearance in almost a year.
Gorlitz, who has been sidelined for 10 months with torn cruciate knee ligaments, damaged muscle fibres in his right ankle during a reserve match with Stuttgarter Kickers on Sunday.
The 23-year-old, who had been hoping to play in next month's UEFA Champions League clash with Juventus, must now spend a further two weeks on the treatment table, pushing back his timetable to regain match fitness.
