France: Paris St Germain's Rothen suffers setback [Tue Sep 13th, 2005]

Paris St Germain midfielder Jerome Rothen has been ruled out for two weeks with a fresh thigh injury.

The 27-year-old France international will miss PSG's Ligue 1 clash at St Etienne at the weekend and could also sit out the visit of Lille a week later.

Rothen picked up the injury on Saturday against Strasbourg as he was making his return from another blow to the same thigh.

That injury had already forced him to miss France's two World Cup qualifiers against the Faroe Islands and the Republic of Ireland at the start of the month.
