England (Div 1): Derby hold on at Crewe [Tue Sep 13th, 2005]
Crewe have been held to a 1-1 Coca-Cola Championship draw by Derby, despite playing against 10 men for the last 29 minutes.
The home side took the lead in the 30th minute through a Mark Rivers header, but four minutes into the second half Morten Bisgaard netted to make it 1-1.
Derby was reduced to 10 men on 61 minutes when on-loan Middlesborough defender Andrew Davies was sent off for a second bookable offence, but the visitors held on for a well-deserved point against a Crewe team with just one league win this season.
The point means Derby move up to 10th, above Stoke and Ipswich on goal difference.
