US women return to action in October [Thu Sep 15th, 2005]
Head coach Greg Ryan and his US women’s national team will be back in action this October with a match on each coast.
The first game will take place in Fullerton, California against Australia on October 16th at Titan Stadium, while the second will be played at Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston, SC on October 23rd against Mexico. Both matches will air live on ESPN2.
The US are yet to be defeated under Ryan, as he is currently 7-0-0, and they are yet to allow a goal. Last time out, they defeated Iceland 3-0 at the Home Depot Center. The squads for these matches will not be announced until October.
Tickets for the match against Australia go on sale on Thursday, September 15th at 10:00 a.m. PT. South Carolina’s match against Mexico will be available the same day at 10:00 am ET.
