Germany: Streit suffers broken jaw [Fri Sep 16th, 2005]
Cologne midfielder Albert Streit has suffered his second broken jaw in the space of a month.
The 25-year-old will not have to miss any of Cologne's games though, as X-rays revealed there is no need for an operation after a clash with Borussia Dortmund's Sebastian Kehl last Saturday.
Streit broke his jaw in training in mid-August when on the receiving end of Christian Lell's elbow, but recovered from that blow to take part in all four of Cologne's opening Bundesliga fixtures, scoring twice.
He is expected to be fit for the clash against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.
