Japan once again Asia's number one [Fri Sep 16th, 2005]
Japan have moved up one spot to 16 in FIFA’s latest rankings, regaining their position as Asia’s number one-ranked team.
Iran have lost that accolade and drop three places to 18, while South Korea fall by the same amount to 26.
Saudi Arabia fall one to 29, and Bahrain drop from 50 to 53, while Uzbekistan move up to 57.
North Korea move up four to 85 but are still below China, Kuwait and Iraq, who have fallen to 60, 61, and 68 respectively.
