Mori may return to Perth [Fri Sep 16th, 2005]

Prolific scorer Damian Mori, with 77 goals in 112 games in his previous stint with Perth Glory, could rejoin the club, albeit on a short-term deal, the West Australian newspaper reported.

Despite signing a long-term contract with Adelaide City, Mori could be available during the South Australian off-season.

Perth Glory technical manager Mich D'Avray confirmed that the club were interested in Mori returning to the club he played for in the last 4 years of the old NSL competition.

"It would be remiss of Glory if we did not look at a player of Mori's calibre if he became available," D'Avray said.

Despite being player-coach of Adelaide City, the 34-year-old striker has still managed 23 goals in jut 25 games for his side this season, City have also reached the SA grand final.
