Italy: Two games, two coaches gone for Cagliari [Fri Sep 16th, 2005]
Milan (Reuters) - Daniele Arrigoni has quit Cagliari, the second coach to depart the Serie A club after just two games of the season.
Fans protested against Arrigoni's reinstatement at last weekend's game against Lazio -- his first back in charge of the Sardinian team.
Arrigoni, who was in charge of Cagliari last season, returned to the club when Attilio Tesser was sacked after the opening day defeat to Siena.
The 46-year-old Arrigoni had left Cagliari during the close season to take over at Torino following their promotion to Serie A.
But when Torino's promotion was annulled due to their financial problems, Arrigoni decided not to stay with the club and made a swift return to Cagliari.
The club said in a statement that they accepted Arrigoni's resignation.
