Italy: Juventus' Thuram to miss Ascoli match [Sat Sep 17th, 2005]
French defender Lilian Thuram, still recovering from an injury picked up during international duty, will almost certainly not be part of the Juventus squad which will host Ascoli at the Delle Alpi.
The player is gradually reaching the best condition, but Fabio Capello is expected to rest him so to be at 100% for the following Serie A encounter against Udinese.
With Jonathan Zebina back from injury as well, the Juve tactician is still pondering who to play as right back, following Blasi’s excellent display against Club Bruges in the UEFA Champions League.
