Turkey: Sivasspor win to go third [Sat Sep 17th, 2005]

Sivasspor moved into the top three in Turkey's Super Lig after a 2-1 win over Trabzonspor.

Visitors Trabzonspor came into the match unbeaten and made the better start with Kursat Duymus giving his side a 21st-minute lead.

However, Sivasspor bounced back with a Sergio equaliser 15 minutes later and Pini Balili was the match-winner for the hosts after his 52nd-minute strike found the target.

The victory moves Sivasspor one place above their opponents in the standings, although the two teams are locked on 11 points.
