Holland: Ajax defender Grygera's red card incorrect [Sun Sep 18th, 2005]
The disciplinary commission of the KNVB has cleared Ajax defender Zdenek Grygera for the red card he got in the away match against Willem II.
The KNVB's prosecutor initially offered Grygera a one-game ban, but he and his club appealed.
And after reviewing the incident, the disciplinary commission decided that striker Zsombor Kerekes had not broken through the Ajax defence when Grygera grabbed him, and that the red card was incorrect.
The Czech Republic international is now free to play for Ajax in this weekend's important game with joint leaders AZ Alkmaar.
