Brazil: Fluminense keeper Kléber ropes in euphoria [Sun Sep 18th, 2005]
With the leadership of the Brasileirão and a good advantage to go through to the quarter finals of the Copa Sudamericana, Fluminense are enjoying a purple patch unseen for more than a couple of years.
One of the keys to this burgeoning success is goalie Kléber, whose sterling work between the Tricolor sticks has enabled the team to profit from Tuta, Gabriel, Leandro and Petkovic’s front-line efficiency.
“We all feel that we’re on the right track, but we also know that the pressure isn’t going to let up – we’re under a microscope, so the slightest slip-up is going to be magnified. This will be when we have to show what we’re made of, and there’s still of a lot of room for improvement,†said the 'Flu' custodian.
