Norway: Rosenborg continue to dive [Sun Sep 18th, 2005]

Rosenborg slumped to their 12th defeat of a desperate campaign as they were well beaten 4-1 by Molde.

Champions for the last 13 years straight, Rosenborg have already lost their crown this season, and now find themselves in an unthinkable relegation battle, only five points off the bottom, having played a game more than those around them.

They trailed from the second minute in Molde after Daniel Berg Hestad put the hosts ahead and Matej Mavric doubled the lead before half-time.

Stale Stensaas got one back for Rosenborg, but two goals in four minutes from Rob Friend and Petter Rudi killed the game with 20 minutes to go.
