Celtic win South African Cup [Sun Sep 18th, 2005]
Bloemfontein Celtic won their first trophy in 20 years with a 1-0 victory over SuperSport United in the final of the South Africa Super Eight Cup in Potchefstroom.
Zambian international Rotson Kilambe scored the decisive goal with a header in the 66th minute.
Celtic's only previous cup triumph came at the 1985 South African FA Cup.
The Super Eight competition is a knockout tournament for the sides which filled the top eight places in the previous season's league competition.
It is one of three annual cup competitions on South Africa's football calendar.
