England (Div 1): Derby draw with Southampton, Norwich win local derby [Mon Sep 19th, 2005]

London (Reuters) - Derby County drew 2-2 with Southampton and Norwich City beat neighbours Ipswich Town 1-0 in the English first division.

All four promotion-seeking clubs are a long way behind Sheffield United, however, after the leaders notched up their eighth win of the season, 3-2 at Watford.

Norwich substitute Darren Huckerby was the match-winner in the east Anglia derby at Portman Road, scoring from a tight angle after 51 minutes against an Ipswich side down to 10 men following the early dismissal of Luis Sito.

Southampton needed a last-gasp lob from striker Ricardo Fuller to share the points at Derby, who had come from behind to lead 2-1 following goals by Inigo Idiakez and Andrew Davies.

Southampton climbed to sixth, 10 points behind the leaders, Derby are ninth, Ipswich 13th and Norwich 17th.
