Austria: Jezek goal for Salzburg helps sink leaders [Mon Sep 19th, 2005]
Austria Vienna saw their lead at the top of the Bundesliga cut to two points following a 1-0 defeat at Salzburg.
The hosts' policy of recruiting high-profile players in the summer has so far failed to reap any benefits this season, but Patrik Jezek's goal four minutes before half-time gave Kurt Jara's men a much-needed victory.
Second-placed FC Superfund could have moved level on points with Austria Vienna, but were held to a goalless draw at Graz AK.
