Croatia: Gudelj takes Hajduk reins [Tue Sep 20th, 2005]

Hajduk Split have handed the coaching reins to Ivan Gudelj after sacking Miroslav Blazevic at the weekend.

Gudelj currently works as Croatia's Under-17 national team manager.

Blazevic was shown the door after a 1-0 home defeat to Rijeka.

He was on thin ice after Hajduk were beaten 8-0 on aggregate by Debrecen in UEFA Champions League qualifying.
