Spain: Dani blow for Real Betis [Tue Sep 20th, 2005]

Real Betis striker Dani Martin will be out of action for up to a month after tearing a hamstring during his side's 0-0 draw against Real Zaragoza.

It is yet another injury blow for the 24-year-old, who missed several months of last season after damaging tendons in his right ankle.

He recovered to score the winning goal in last year's Copa del Rey final against Osasuna, but will now miss his side's UEFA Champions League games against Anderlecht and possibly Chelsea, as well as Primera Liga matches against Deportivo La Coruna, Barcelona and Real Sociedad.
