Asian Champions League: Much to do for Al Sadd's Milutinovic [Tue Sep 20th, 2005]

Qatar's finest have a huge task on their hands to overturn a 3-0 first leg deficit.

Al Sadd (Qatar) (0) (3) Pusan I-cons (South Korea)

South Korea’s Pusan I-cons have almost booked their place in the last four after a 3-0 win over Al-Sadd in the first leg. The Qatari champions had no answer to Busan’s Brazilian striker Da Silva, who bagged a brace on Korea’s south coast.

Pusan, who arrived in the Gulf on Monday, have yet to concede a goal in the competition and have found the net themselves a total of 28 times. They don’t have to do score in Doha but have the firepower ,and the confidence to put the tie beyond the middle-easterners.

After leading five different nations to the World Cup, Al-Sadd coach Bora Milutinovic has enough experience to know that it will be very difficult for his side to continue their participation in the continental competition.

Hotshot striker Emerson missed out in the first leg due to a groin injury, but the J-League 2004 top scorer could be in contention for a starting spot at the Al Sadd Sports Club Stadium.
