Scotland: Celtic captain Lennon banned for three matches [Wed Sep 21st, 2005]
Glasgow (Reuters) - Celtic captain Neil Lennon has been banned for three matches by the Scottish Football Association, following his sending-off in last month's Old Firm derby against Rangers.
Lennon barged the referee and was ordered to appear at a disciplinary meeting. His suspension begins immediately, ruling Lennon out of the League Cup match against Falkirk.
