A Li Yi brace sent Shenzhen Jianlibao into the semi-finals of Asia's club competition.
Shenzhen Jianlibao (China) 3 - 1 Al Ahli (Saudi Arabia) (Aggregate 4-3)
Chinese champions Shenzhen Jianlibao are the first club to reach the last four of the Asian Champions League, defeating Al Ahli 3-1 after extra time in the quarter-final second leg, taking the tie 4-3 on aggregrate.
Despite lying near the bottom of the Chinese Super League, Shenzhen have saved their best form for the continental competition and fought back from a 2-1 defeat in Saudi Arabia in the first leg.
Marek Zajac gave the Chinese a dream start after six minutes and by the 15-minute mark, Shenzhen were further ahead thanks to international striker Li Yi.
However, the team from Jeddah pulled a goal back five minutes later to level the match.
After that breathless start, the scoreline stayed the same until the 98th minute, when Li scored his second of the game to send the southern Chinese team into the last four.
