Sheffield United Betting Preview

Of the three teams that came up, it looks like Sheffield United will be the club that struggles the most. The main reason is they will probably lack firepower up front. United have bought Rob Hulse in to complement Ade Akinbiyi, Steve Kabba, Neil Shipperley and Danny Webber, but you still feel that they will be up against it.

Manager Neil Warnock will always be good value and you can bet that the Blades will fight like cats to retain their Premiership status, but on paper they appear to lack the depth in their line up to be able to survive. Claude Davis is a good acquisition at the back and the midfield duo of Phil Jagielka and Michael Tonge are useful so you never know. But if you back Sheffield United to be propping the league next May you probably won’t be far off the mark.
