Heerenveen Preview

Verdict: Right behind the leaders

Compared to last season Heerenveen certainly didn't get much stronger, though I wouldn't rate them as weaker either. With Bruggink, Seip, Derveld and de Vries they maybe didn't lose very talented players, however, they were extremely experienced. With Garcia-Garcia, Zuiverloon, Dingsdag and Alves Heerenveen compensated this very well, and in defence they're a lot better than last season. Heerenveen can rely on a very good reputation and a big crowd, and with their current team I think they will end right behind the top teams. They could have some problems at the start of the season with those new guys on important positions, but Heerenveen will play a significant role this season.
