The purpose of the Ipswich City Soccer Club's Mailing List is to provide a discussion forum for club members and supporters and to provide news of events and activities that are happening at the club.

Ipswich City Soccer Club, "The Bulls", was formed on the 16 February 1975, with five teams and 70 players, drawn from all parts of Ipswich City, although most of them come from Leichhardt and the Brassall area's of Ipswich. The Club has a current membership of over 400 families (as of 3 August, 1999) - its senior members comprising two men's teams in Queensland Soccer Federation (QSF) Amateur Division 1 and reserves and a women's team in the Queensland Women's Soccer Association.

The Club's junior members, some 400 registered players, combine to be thirty two teams who play in all ten age groups of the Brisbane and Southern Districts Junior Soccer Association (BSDJSA) competition. Analysis of the on field performance of the junior teams in the 1998 season, had 27 of the 32 teams placed in the top half of their respective competition ladders, plus our Under 11 Div 7 & Under 12 Div 2 were Semi Finalists and Grand Finalists and our Under 15 Div 5 were Premiers and Grand Final Winners plus the senior team took out the 1998 Division 2 premiership thus advancing to Division 1.

This mailing list was created so that members of the club with an email address can discuss relevant to the club. The list is also a good communication tool for the club and a way of getting families involved in the club. I am hoping to send fixtures, scores, news & events etc to all members of the club. List members can also send information to the list i.e. reminders, news etc
