Revolution M Dempsey suspended, fined for violent conduct [Thu Jul 13th, 2006]
Dempsey, who got into an altercation against fire defender Gonzalo Segares in the 31st minute, will miss the Revolution's games against Real Salt Lake on Friday and at the Houston Dynamo on July 22.
The only player to score for the United States in the 2006 World Cup, Dempsey had been suspended by the Revolution for two weeks in March for brawling with teammate Joe Franchino.
The Texan on Wednesday was named to the MLS "First XI" for next month's All-Star Game against British powerhouse Chelsea FC.
